Huh? "beltway fears"? :cookoo: Think ya got the wrong guy. I was a motorcycle courier for two summers in DC!! I think I can handle "Charm" city...or is that the city that reads? My only fear was about the bikes being safe from thieves in the city if we stopped to go grubbing, but it sounds like you've got a good spot or two in mind...besides, I don't eat much.

Dude I'm tryin to work the angles here and free up a day...the Sunday party thing the fam has up in the air...tryin to get a set time pinned down to see if I can work around it....I'm in Bel Air....(Harford County) just north of Baltimore....and I'm not sure why the DC cats are timid about Baltimore...SE DC is exactly a walk in the park....even Takoma Park for that matter ???

Been there done that and I grew up and learned to ride in Takoma Park. This DC cat ain't got any trepidation about B-more. Ain't much of a fan of any city, riding or not, but there's no more to fear in a city than on a country road. Ever seen a deer try to ruin your day in downton Baltimore. ???

Ok,

Here's my thoughts for Sunday

10:am depart my house pick up Dan and his Harley
10:45 Arrive at Rt 40 East Pick up Boost
11:00 Depart Rt 40

Boost- Take I-70 to Bmore, when it ends take the RIGHT exit ramp and get off at the 1st exit which should be RT 4O, on the right is a Circuit City, wait for us there.

11:15 Arrive at West Nursery Road pick up Melodic, and DJ
11:30 Depart W Nursery Rd

Melodic & Dj- Get to BW Pkway 295 North the last exit bfore 695 is West Nursery Road we will be waiting for you just off the exit ramp.

We will travel to I95 Northboud to MLK Blvd (before the tunnel) and take that through the Inner Harbor to Fells Pt. We can either rest or eat, but we should depart by 1:30 latest.

1:30 depart via Fells Pt to I 83 North to Timonium Faigrounds to the bike show and check in with BigRod.

3:00 Depart Bike show and roll out, we can escot drivers towards their retrn areas, I70, 295 South etc and then Dan and I can roll the bikeson in.

How does that sound? For anyone that cant rally at these potential times, we will be in Fells Pt roughly from 12:15 till 1:30, at which time we will leave and you will have to catch us at the bike show.

My bike 08 Black and Gray, easy to spot, the License plate says LYCAN7

So who's in? Let me know so that I can know who to pick up. Please wear your gear, and this will NOT be a speed run, just an opportunity for some Org folks to meet.

Any other ideas are welcome so let's hear them!

I'd suggest that we get more specific on the rally point on W Nursery. May I suggest the parking lot that is bordered on the west by W Nursery Road and on the North by Corporate Blvd? This lot looks to be a 9-5 business place that will have virtually no cars or traffic on the weekend. Pic attached...

Hey guys, its currently 1100a.m. and it seems the warm up is taking some time. Based on this it is possible the warm up tomorrow may be just as slow, and dragging folks out when its still might nippy might not be alluring to some. We can ( if so appealing to most) just rally up at Fells Pt with a plain old departure time of 130 that way folks can judge their own departures etc in case its chilly out your respective way....what say yee I will be outside prepping Kayma and such so get me by cell phone 443-506-3769.
Today I will ride for about an hour or so but I have a work party with the wife i have to attend so I will be putting the bike up at about 2, till then im getting geared up to roll in about 40 minutes!

If we're gonna rally at Fells Point, can we use a particular address? I've been to Fells Point, but not in a couple years, so I'd like to have pretty specific spot to meet to ensure we don't somehow miss hookin' up.
