When I get my cylinder block back and replacement throttle bodys
I will probably brave my freezing garage and put the motor back in to hear it run hopefully right
then I want to schedule DAS dyno time
As far as the garage goes, the garage at my last house was 400 square feet, was hot in the summer, and literally only a couple degrees above the outside air temlerature in the winter...it was awful.
So, I put in these radiant barrier garage door panels, which literally just pop into place, or you can buy it in sheets or rolls, and tape or staple it up, depending on your door material.
I then bought a small electric heater at Home Depot, and put it on an old milk crate to get it up off of the floor(the room won't get warm with it sitting on the floor).
After about 15 minutes of it running, it was warm, and there were many times I turned it off for a while when it was below freezing outside, as I was sweating in a t-shirt and jeans.
The radiant barrier on the doors also kept the garage cool in the summer.
This was a cheap and easy way to make it comfortable to work in year round.
I've worked outside in the cold enough...and hate working inside in the cold as well, cold hands suck.
Just an fyi that would help make a cold winter garage enjoyable to use.
