Slice though the above opinions and GET A SHOP MANUAL.
A shop manual is only going to tell you the factory settings. The factory settings are for what Suzuki's engineers believe to be the average weight rider riding the bike in an average fashion(speed).

If you one, weigh more than the average person(and that's not a US average) or two, ride faster than the average rider rides, you need to set the sag for your weight/pace.
 
Damn I wish there was more like you in my area "Charlesbusa"! I could use the help setting up my suspension too! Everytime I go to the track....I always hear suspension, suspension, suspension!!! But I do not know what I need or how to know if I am going the right or wrong dirrection in changes. I ride a 08 busa and haven't played with the suspension yet. I weigh in at 185lb. less gear...probably 190 with gear!!! Setting sag would be great no one around to help and never done it myself....I wen to the link you posted and will try to follow along with that.
