Meet-n-greet 2 (2006)

Wow! I sure wish I could go to this Meet 'N Greet but alas that is the same time frame that I will be in Myrtle Beach with my wife for our annual Wedding Anniversary Vacation.
So you all have a good time (I know you will) and maybe I can go next year.

We will be meeting up in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. If you've never been then your in for a treat. If you have then you know what to expect.
Plan on staying with everyone from the org at Pointewest! Secluded on the lake this property will be the site of our Midwestern Meet-N-Greet 2006. Plenty of places to stay inside Eureka Springs for under $40 if your on a budget. Current Org price for Pointewest is $75...

I have a room at Pointe West for this event. But the other guy isn't going to be able to make it. So there is a spare bed and half the rent available if someone needs a place to bunk.

Well, I finally did it. I just secured the last room at PointeWest Lodging. I spoke with Lynn and she gave me a reservation for one with two double beds. If anyone needs a place to stay I will be able to accomidate them.
I am so looking forward to getting away from this place for a few days. There couldn't have been any better news for me on this one year anniversary of Katrina. I look forward to finally meeting some of you.
Also, if anyone is in the New Orleans area and is interested in making the trip I plan on leaving midnight Thursday and driving up I-55 through Memphis. I have reservations through Monday the 18th and will leave Eureka Springs around noon to head back home. PM me if you want to take the journey...

This meet sounds great! I've been following your .Org sight for the past 5 years since I bought my '00 Busa, but never really joined in. I'm currently in FLA and was planning on riding back home to Canada before the snow hits. If I can finish my bike repairs and upgrades in time I'll definatley be there! I've never traveled west of Florida on my many rides up and down the eastern seaboard, it sounds like fun and a good excuse to break in some new brakes, bearings and tires. lol Jay

Talked to some friends last night at a local bike night, and they are going to be at the ST1100 ride the weekend before the meet n greet. They are thinking of staying for our gig. One of them just got an 06 busa. Will let you know of their status when their plans are made. Won't be long now!

Yes, there is a vintage Ferrari show that weekend at the Crescent Hotel, which is cool in itself. There might be too much to do in too little time!

If we need/can pitch in for food I am willing. If not I am bringing my own steak. I just hate eating a big, juicy, delicious, medium cooked ribeye while everyone else eats hot dogs.

I will pick up some of the little sausages made by Opas. They are jalepeno and cheese. They are great.
