Hello all, I just traded a 06 SV 650 that I used for a couple of track days and ran it down the Las Vegas drag strip a few times for a 06 black/grey with just over 2000 miles. My primary cruise around town bike is a 03 Warrior with about 50% more HP and torque over a stock motor. I have been posting for years on RSWARRIOR.COM as Megawatt so now I will be splitting my time between here and there.
The first day on the Busa I rode over 125 miles and another 100+ miles the second day. I am taking my time getting acquainted and have been able to ignore the BMW's, Ferrari's and other high performance cars that can easily be found here in Sin City.
I can't wait for mid February when the drag strip opens and then I can take the Busa down the strip on Fridays for run what you brung. I want to keep it street legal and dependable enough to make 8 hr drives to Reno and other long drives so I will not be modifying the inside of the engine the way I have with my Warrior. I modified the Warrior so much that sometimes dependability is a question but she has never left me stranded and I figure the Busa in stock form is fun enough for me. But I already cut the fairing and installed sliders, and am waiting on lowering links, swingarm stand and a shopping for exhaust systems.
The styling and motor is so superb that I don't have to show off and can save it for the drag strip and a couple of track days for some real fun. Nice site you have here and I will be spending time each day.
