Hi All,
For many years now (I don't know how many) Grand Rapids MI has a Metro Cruise which is a collection of All kind of vehicles that are both
on display and driving back and forth on 28th Street which is about a 12-15 mile long road. 28th Street is one of the busiest street in the State with
many many business on it - everything from Car Dealers, Malls, grocery stores, Hardware stores, Basically just about anything you can think about is available on 28th St.
There are a few house still left on the street and a friend of mine now owns one and so invited me over to watch the parade of vehicles go by. The vehicles going by were as varied as
the stores on that street everything from daily drivers to over $100K and one of a kind that you probably can't put to much value on either dollar wise or for sentimental reasons
with all the blood sweat and tears that went into the restoring of many of these vehicles.
There were some motorcycles maybe 1% in comparison to 4 wheel vehicles, but nothing was really off limits as we saw vehicles that were not street legal (IMO) and this was the only
time that I had seem them on the street - especially on 28th street.
The house I was at was on the way to the mall where the biggest display of vehicles were. So the traffic was backed up and moved pretty slowly for the most part.
There is no real order to the images here as you got what you got as they went by. Sorry they are not all perfectly centered images.
I looked for either the rare, unusual, or even excellent examples of current vehicles tastefully done etc.
