Mileage?

I don't think you are actually riding it everywhere or either you don't go many place. I don't 16K in in 6+ years really qualifies as laying the miles down.

2005 just about to turn 40k. Gas, tires, oil, plugs, air filter, rear pads, battery, and a chain. Never let me down, its a 5.0 fox body mustang on 2 wheels:thumbsup:

My '06 model had 47K on the clock when it disappeared. Gas, oil, one chain at 27K, one front wheel bearing at 44K (I was told they're supposed to be repacked every 30K. Oops.) one set of plugs. At 34K the valves were dead in the middle of spec, no leaks, didn't lose a drop of oil and still got 38MPG.

I really hope to get twice that out of the new one. At least.

Given what these bike were designed to do and the average rider doesn't cain the bike every time they go out the motors are over built. With those in mind they should last quite some time. My bike only has 9000 miles but it sat Most of last year except when I had my room mate take it in for the recall and my brother test my double bubble windshield.
