Military base sticker on busa

i just got my metal tags for the new busa, so now i can get base stickers for it. on my old gs1000 i just put them on the left fork so the gate guard could just look down and see it. where are you guys putting the stickers on the busa? i kind of hate putting them in plain view on the busa because of the "looks" issue, not such a concern on the old gs.

Mine is on a bracket off of my outer left fork pinch bolt.

mc,

good looking bike. mine is blue/silver too.  i am sorry to say that the left side is pretty scratched up now. i will have the scratched left fairing replaced soon.  i will just have to live with the minor scratches on the center fairing and f. fender.  i might try covering those with touch up paint.

i don't think the 4 sickers we hav to use would fit where you hav yours.

I put mine on the left innner fairing. Very easy to see. Not the greatest for looks, but will come off easy without scratching anything when I PCS.

That was where I originally had mine, but I had to pull the stickers when I sent my inners in to be painted.

Mine are in the same place as MC MUSTANG. It'll work for your 4 stickers, just cut a little bigger piece of metal to mount them on.

I made a bracket and mounted it to my caliper bracket bolts by drilling them out a few thousandths and tapping them.

i took my sticker and got a magnetis sheet and put it on there and that way you can remove easy i used to have it on the gas tank then if you want you can just pull it off when out around town. i used to get in trouble by my supervisors alot so i didnt want anyont to think that i was military

I used the stock reflector bracket... took a piece of sheetmetal cut it to the size of the sticker and mounted it to the stock reflector bracket... only picture i got cause my camera battery just died taking it...

cant do that here... the cop will lean over and take it off and say hmm... weres your sticker... defeats the purpose of if being a sticker and it leaves it open for theft... not a good idea to have it on a magnet IMO...
