I tried to put calipers on that sucker, but they only gripped on one side.
Those SUZUKI decals, plus clearcoat plus god knows what are so thick I've got to believe they're a potential weight problem.
Also, I resent those great big huge decals being there because that's exactly the place that I have always put the name of all my bikes, which has always been "ROADKILL."
Where am I supposed to put it now?

Just to test whether this tank logo thing is mindless babble or not, let me suggest that the marketing weenies at Suzuki are responsible for that Mt. Rushmore-like tank logo.
They want their advertising space and they're going to make sure that no independent-minded Busa owner's gonna take it away from them.
Now we gotta destroy the tank to claim it back.
How many of you wear TOMMY HILFIGER all over your chest or put 48" MUSTANG decals on your car's windshield? I hate it when manufacturers try to use my chattels as billboards and I refuse to wear clothing, including shoes, that has logos the size of Buicks on them.
For the moment, I'm covering the SUZ tank logo with the Bagster full tank cover (bagster.fr). But I know I'm going to strip and repaint that tank soon...with my own logo on it...ROADKILL.

Dirty Pete, how about a small pic of a Falcon with a green bug in its mouth, RoadKill makes me think ZX12.
THe Hayabusa is a preditor not a victim(roadkill).

I like ROADKILL because it blows the citizens' minds, laughs at death, and has the connotation that I can kill anything on the road.

Your idea for a tank illustration gets me thinking, why don't we do the patch as a good quality transfer/decal that can be put right on the bike?

When I wax my baby, I have to come back and tweak the wax/dust near the logos. It builds up there like a SOB! You are right...
