Mobil MX4T

You guys are NOT being dramatic. I am the most skeptical, pragmatic person when it comes to this kind of stuff yet when I put the MX4T in the busa I felt like I had an auto tranny. In fact several times I accidently upshifted due to having a little preload on my toe when backing off the throttle.

It is an impressive product for sure. If I did not have 58 quarts of various free oils left over from the oil project I have been working on it would be in my bike most likely.

Just a quick thanks for all who posted about what a wonderful oil this was.

Nectar of the 'Busa Gods!! :)

Alright, so I am being a bit dramatic...truth is that I did my oil change last night and used the Mobil MX4T. Rode the 'Busa in on my 40 mile commute this morning and...

...what a difference!! Feels like a whole different transmission was installed while I slept last night! :)

The bike seems to run a bit smoother as well. A bit pricey, but well worth the money.

AutoZone carries it if anyone is interested.

Did the same to mine, its hard to describe its effects without sounding overly dramatic. Stuff is amazing.

A highly debatable subject. My MX4T and new filter went in at 400 miles. Some people think your rings wont seat so if you have any doubts, wait for 2000 miles. Seems to be the normal change over mileage. Me? I dont think ring seating is a problem so I run it from the get go and know my bearings will be in good shape for the Mr. Turbo kit and my camshaft lobes will be smooth and shiny for a long, long time.

The only drawback I have found is...

Has anyone else noticed how this crap flows so well it seems to end up everywhere? It isn't leaking, but I always seem to spill some somewhere. God forbid if you don't tighten the filler cap!

I do love it! I order mine from Rex Oil Co. Ends up at $7.10 qt after delivery. Beats $7.99 + Tax.

I'm going to be changing mine this weekend. I'm at 4k miles and I've only had the bike for about 1.5 months.

I put this in my ZX-11C last year and it was absolutely amazing. The bike ran cooler, shifted smoother, the motor was quieter, and I even think it add a couple of RWHP. This stuff is like liquid gold.

I can't wait to add it to my BUSA. Yea $8 per quart is pretty expensive, but my only vice in life right now is riding my Y2K Hayabusa...I can afford it. Hell it only takes 4 quarts anyway. I've got to treat my baby nice.
