Thanks ya'll.... Now I feel all worm and fuzzy inside Never expected such a great welcome. Thanks for all the best wishes, I got a feeling things will be great! Changes? not just yet, certain things will go away and the peg mod but that's about it for know, got to recoup the funds if'n ya know what I mean...LOL. This really is a bummer though, gonna be worm this weekend and I got the itch!!!! Oh well...I can wait.

Hi all
last month was my birthday (49) so I bought myself a present..... an 06 busa. And it just so happens to be my fav colors Burgundy & Black . Got to ride it 3 times and now it is in the shop, the dealer didn't check 1st & 2nd gear so now the gears jump. No worries though, the dealer is fixin it, bad part is I wont get it back for about 3 weeks :-( . The ride i did get to take was KILLER !!! my 30yr old CB900 custom has NOTHING in common with this bike, I love it so far. Sure am glad I found ya'll, I know absolutely nothing about this bikes components and am going to need all the help I can get, you see I'm a DIY person and was lucky enough to be a MC mechanic in my younger days so thanks for all the help in advance....LOL. If I can get this to work you will see the dealer picks I have. Again thanks

Lexx... I agree, I had a 2002 Katana 600 for 7 years until I got my 08 last march.. it is incredible. to be that fast and still be so smooth is crazy. i live in philly and it finally didn't snow (72inches this year) and got to ride.. wow, did i miss my baby... its riding time..

Welcome to the org and dont shift sloppily to second gear when ya get it back. Too many Hayabusa's out there jumping out of second gear because of sloppy shifting. Unfortunately, I have looked at several with the same problem.

Hello all, as you all know my baby has been in the shop for new gears, well that was almost 2 months ago.??? Called the dealership today because it was supposed to be ready for pickup, sales man tells me there is some good news and some bad news. First the bad news, your bike was stolen at about 3 in the morning on Saturday.:eh: The good news is we are receiving 2 2007 limited edition busa's within the week, don't know the colors yet but I get my pick of the two @ the same price so we will see what happens. Sucks because my helmet matches the burgundy Busa so I will probably have to get a new one. Well that's the update, this is the first time in my life I have had such trouble buying a vehicle of any type.
When the time comes I will post the results of this fiasco. :mad2:
