most guys that work on machines for a living tend to get a good idea of what tight is and without fail are within maybe 1-3% of accurate.. I have not been a paid wrench for a number of years but the feel never goes away..
One of the best lessons I learned early on was taught to me by the owner of the shop where I "apprenticed" at. He set me up with a socket wrench in one hand and a torque wrench in the other. He clamped the handle of the torque wrench in a vice with soft jaws. He locked a nut down on a short bolt and placed one end in the socket of the torque wrench and my socket wrench on the other end. Then I "tightened the bolt and could see how much torque I was applying.

While I doubt I am 1-3% accurate, I'm good enough without a torque wrench for common assemblies.

Oh hell, I never use torque wrenches. I can get it within 1 ft. lb. of spec:whistle::rofl:

fixed it. I loosened the spacer bolt and got a set of vise grips in there, grabbed the bolt and got it out. It wasn't easy finding an M10x1.25 socket head cap screw today, but luckily Ace Hardware had one.
Scarlett is good to go and a happy girl again.
Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it.
