I'll host if needed. I've been hosting some through gamespy, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Glad you got the mods done to your bike. The changes are there, but you won't notice a big difference until you start shaving seconds off of your lap times, then it becomes clear. It just levels the playing field when on-line, although I still get my butt kicked on a very regular basis.
One of the best things I've changed on mine is the wheelbase. 1420mm vs 1500. Makes a huge difference cornering, and with the maxed out credits, you have much better control through the turns. Gearing makes a BIG difference when racing. Twisty Track = Low, Long Straights = High, usually works, although some tracks with a mix of stuff likes Low which gives you good exit speeds, and tops out quicker on the short straights.
I'll stop rambling. You don't think I've gotten into the game a little too much do you?
Now, if I can just get that corner down perfect, I could save 0.02 seconds on my lap time..........I know.........I'm pathetic!
It's a skill that grows on you. I'll always wait up and give you something to chase or I'll chase you. Just don't follow my lines as I am not great or anything! Always fun following someone into the run offs on the curves like we did last night a bunch. HAhAHAHHAA. If you get desparate and Lazy, stk00 might even sell you some mods for your cartoon bike to speed things up [wink wink] ;D
