My fear is a user put them on but doesn't get them 100% correct and it destabilizes the bike at speed...

I'd imagine manufacturers that provide them on a factory bike did a bit of wind testing

Yeah, and given my own unsuprising experiences with the Puig Winglets on the '18 Gsxr1k, how they upset the handling, and how it got alot worse at high speed...I'll pass.

I can see that...

And seeing as the Hayabusa in stock form is the most aerodynamic bike out there, adding things like this can't help much...

Yep, I think it's just jumping on the Moto-GP bandwagon for looks.
With most riders not realising the amount of wing variations those teams go through just to find something that works well, and without causing any other handling problems.
Making an already small 1000cc bike as light, narrow, and aerodynamic as possible, vs like you said, a wind tunnel designed Busa...all 3 gens.

It looks like in the right side it covers part of the Kanji or maybe its the photo position, do you know the price? I tryed to look in their site and i cant find them. Thank you

I messaged them and they replied after 2 days that the winglets are out of stock.

That was their whole message. No preorder, no price information, no nothing.

Exactly the same happened 1 year ago when I asked them about some other carbon parts.

Did anybody worked with them so far? I don’t like at all their way of doing business.

I think It looks pretty cool. Just sucks you will know longer have DRL's, blinker and only a tiny headlight with a Kanji symbol over it. I mean for anyone who only rides during the day and can manage not getting pulled for the blinker issue, have at it. I do agree that this should absolutely be wind tunnel tested before being released. We tend to go fast..... on closed courses of course.....

Food for thought. I bought a zero gravity double bubble windscreen. Doesn't seem like much of a change right? Only used it for 1 ride and took it off. The buffeting was absolutely terrible. Felt like a bobble head above 45mph and my jacket flapped constantly around the rear of my shoulders.

Here is an update.

$499 free shipping worldwide.

The wings were not aero tested and they didn’t worked with an aero engineer to design them.

They also didn’t measured the wings downforce, if any.

All they did was a speed test on a turbo Hayabusa.

The installation is made with bolts, no sub frame or any special thing.

I have their headlight, taillight, aero fender and fender brackets. Idk how associated with Alif they are (I think it’s same people two different companies) and I basically have everything Alif for my bike too. Communication isn’t their strong suit I will give you that tho.

The silver bike has their DRL delete pieces, it’s not the winglets covering them.

This time they were helpful and responsive, and they told me everything I wanted to know.

Plus they reserved me a wings kit as they knew I asked about some time ago.

They were nice. :)

But I won’t buy the wings from them.

Maybe in the future they will have something of interest for me.
