Wednesday a motorcycle cop rode into the back of a suburban try'n to catch speeding motorcyclists. The news said he broke several bones in his leg and face. It was north of Dallas,TX on 121 nice flat and strainght road.

It just goes to show ya that those harleys cannot keep up with real sport bikes hehehehehe.

I guess he forgot how to split lanes.

doh i almost forgot to add .. it wasnt me they were chasing :)

Last night I heard the report on the Channel 8 news. They said they are looking for a "custom" purple with pink? Cowasucki. If that description is true someone should put that bike out of our misery.

Oh I guess he wont be riding that bike for a few days. But I wonder how close the description is the real bike.

It might be an interesting to head out to the street races this weekend to see what the rumor mill is turning out.

Does anyone know if it will be on the World's Most Scariest Police Chase on Fox Channel?I've been 120mph on my Harley not a good idea talk about front end wobble. If I owned the Kawi,I would have had a new custom paint job by now.Always stay stock paint never know when your're going to be chased by the cops.

Of course it WILL NOT be on fox because the cop crashed and the good guy got away. If it had been the other way, you can bet your hayabusa that they would have show it.

I saw one where they showd a someone ran straight of a u-turn. Of course they highlighted the fleeing vehicle. BUT what they failed to highlight that in the lower edge of the screen the cop car was rolling end over end. it was just in the camera view and they never mentioned that the cop wrecked. Its biased, too bad

I want to see the show "The ones that got away" Of course that will never happen.

Has anyone ever noticed that the motorcycle guys that they show getting caught have the riding skills of a constipated sea lion? I swear, they always show some guy on an old unless you are close to an airport. BUT MY 750 gixxer that never gets more than 5 car lengths ahead of the cop! Any damn 600 sportbike should be able to get out of sight of a cop within 15 seconds. The only exception is the helicopter chases in which case you should probably give up anyway, BUT MY GOD dont make yourself look like a fool by getting caught by a 5000 lb crown victoria on a bullet bike! Jees. Not that I would ever do that or anything.

I agree... they only show the squids who can't ride. If you do decide to run and are on a sportbike and get caught... you deserve the tickets and the fines. I've seen the ones where the cop is in a "prowler" and Johnny Backmarker is fleeing. I always find myself rooting for Johnny... and critiquing his riding ability. Maybe Johnny needs a pipe, ignition advancer,K&N filter and jetkit?
Nailz

I did however see one from london. The cop pulled over a crotch rocket, he stopped just long enough for the cop to put the car in park and zoooooommmmmmm you see him pulling away in the incar camera.

heheh the announce says this rider was never seen again. Of course this is the only one I have ever seen.

I guess we all need to start riding around with rear facing cameras and film some chases. We could start our own show right after "Polices Scariest Chases"...."Polices Shortest Chase". Of course we wouldnt show anyone crashin or get'n caught ...

Yeah, editorial balance is a good thing, usually you get somebody's biased viewpoint. I laughed reading about the cop car going end-over-end almost out of camera view. Talk about in your face.

Most of us might have a good story or two about booking from Johnny Law. You don't want to tell the real ones too often. But everyone should remember that no vehicle goes faster than a radio wave, and you do have that little thing on the back of your machine called a license plate...

It is always disappointing to see on those cop shows some moron wobbling in and out of traffic, trying to run from a cop on a motorcycle. I think if he's stupid enough to run and get caught, he should just be shot. He shouldn't be allowed to pass on his genes and make the human race any dumber.

Any fool knows that you should only pick a fight you have a decent chance of winning. In other words, the only time to even think about it is if you have something of a head start. After that, it isn't about going fast so much as about getting out of sight and hiding. At that, I've said more than enough. If you lose your bike and get nailed for felony flight, don't blame me.
