Motorcycle drifting?

As I'm sure a lot of extreme enthusiasts do, I stay on you tube watching videos about motorcycles. I've come across a phenom. Motorcycle drift! At first I was like NO WAY!! Now I'm wondering if this could become a new extreme sport? What are your views and opinions. Personally I'm considering taking my old gixxer 750 custom and building a drift bike!

I'm still trying to master dry pavement, but wet roads made it easy for me to get the hang of it.
If you can drift a dirtbike on hardpacked dirt, it's the same principle.
Low speeds on pavement aren't too risky, assuming you're prepared for a highside; and are immediately and always ready to do whatever to combat one. They can bite you before you know it though, best thing is to not abruptly close the throttle, ease out and/or pull the clutch.

drifiting is such a waste of good tires.
