Yup, and that's all it takes is that one time...many a time someone who was seriously injured were just riding to the store and figured all the gear was just too much to wear...

Hitting the pavement at even 20 mph is not pretty...

Just down the road to get the bike out, not even for fun. Then you in a helicopter, on the way to the e.r. wake up getting a cat scan. Trooper didnt even give me a ticket. Said that copter ride would be enough. And it was, 9 years later still got $5500 left to pay
