Looks like a rough place.

I love how the cop shoots up the car to make sure it doesn’t take off again.LOL
Visiting currently, where the laws are a bit different.
And to think that chase was because the car driver cut the corner.. the cops there really take road rules seriously lolLOL

Are you kidding me??I love how the cop shoots up the car to make sure it doesn’t take off again.
Here in the US the cops can’t do that.
Too much pity for criminals here. “Society made them the way they are” - such BS.
Hell, they even shoot through their own windshields......Are you kidding me??
I’ve watched ‘Police Activity’ on YT and the cops unload a full clip from their weapons into ‘suspects’ all day everyday.
In saying that, to be fair, the suspects are daring the cops to shoot them as they run at them with a knife, but hey, who am I to judge?
I’m referring to someone who doesn’t pull over until forced to.It used to be if a car didn’t stop, or a crook took off running the cop could shoot at them. No more. Are you kidding me??

Just trying to scare the perp?Hell, they even shoot through their own windshields......
I get to wonder how any of them passed their shooting tests the way they unload an entire magazine and don't hit anyone.....
Not from any videos I've seen......the cop was earnestly trying to take out the bad guy and failing......Just trying to scare the perp?
That whole situation was pretty amateur. Not from any videos I've seen......the cop was earnestly trying to take out the bad guy and failing......
I've seen soldiers basically doing the same thing-throwing fire discipline out the window as they were in a state of panic......
.....not good for a police officer who carries a firearm in public each shift.....
I haven't fired from a motorcycle....no........but I have fired from moving vehicles and had to hold a certain average score percentage in order to advance in selection....and later to maintain currency...That whole situation was pretty amateur.
In the olden days in SA the police vehicles had a partial circular segment center bottom of the windshield, which could be removed to shoot through.
I have never fired a pistol while riding a bike. Have you?
I left in 1996.I haven't fired from a motorcycle....no........but I have fired from moving vehicles and had to hold a certain average score percentage in order to advance in selection....and later to maintain currency...
One of the requirements of the unit I was in required us to have a very high degree of shooting accuracy in all situations, we had to maintain a very high standard.
I've also seen instances where police have shot entire magazines at a suspect who was in soft cover and never had one hit.
In the case of the video you posted of the motorcycle cop...it was a miracle he hit anything while riding a motorcycle so any comment from me is not a dig at this video other than it's like the wild, wild west there where a motorcycle cop is shooting at a car.....reminiscent of a guy on a horse in the American west.....
A lot of places are like that these days....I left in 1996.
Very different country today, but there are still places, such as the Western Cape, where it is peaceful, safe and with an exceptional high standard of living.
Where I am on vacation right now, visiting family, it is pretty safe here in my old country, really pretty and if I did not have a business and property in the US, I would move back here in a heartbeat. Picture of one of the many beaches attached. They do lock their doors though and have alarms connected to security companies.A lot of places are like that these days....
Take Newfoundland for instance....it once held the position of a place where you didn't need to lock doors and everyone would help their neighbors...this is no more.
When I first met my wife some 34 years ago, we would visit her hometown where it was very much like this.....people were very friendly, open and giving of themselves, you could leave your car unlocked or not have to put everything away such as a 4 wheeler or such....
Roll around today and each and everything has to be secured or it will be gone, if you have out of province plates on your vehicle, the chances of it being broken in is very high and any 4 wheeler not locked up is gone.....people have become nasty and aloof and distrusting of strangers....with drug use and violence on the rise.....
......a sign of things to come...
