Motorcycle Safety school

Tulsa PD rented it for their training that day and I think we can do a civilian track day.
It may not be a bad idea to have a meet and great with a track day thrown in the mix.

Cant wait for this one Steve. Good times for sure!

so ya show em the "knee down" ? :)

How is progress the Hallett thing going?

What was it for? One day of what... ERC? Was it MSF?

It is not MSF, just some concerned police motor officers that want to try and keep riders from getting hurt.

There is a story behind this. It goes back 30 years. When I was young.
Don't want to bore any one with a long story.

Hallett presents some logistical problems, like food and lodging. It is at least 30-45 minutes from a town with good lodging and food.
There are RV hookups, for the ones with that luxury.

And that's a problem? 30 minutes isn't bad at all

Hallett is right in the middle.

So when are we doing this?

your guess is as good as mine, I would like to do it in the spring.

There are so many other things going on with the bash, eureka fall bash ....

have to see how much interest there is.

If we have enough interest, it could be a big deal.
I can probably drum up support from other agencies and make it a two day event, with a couple sessions for cruisers and sport bikes.
I know the professor and the captain would be all over it.
I already talked to the director of the Oklahoma Highway Safety office about maybe paying the track rental fee. He was very receptive to the idea.
I have to meet with him to work out the details.

If you have some time, I'd love to hear the story.

We teach a SkillzDay every six to eight weeks. No charge to whoever wants to come. We barely advertise at all and get about 10 to 15 riders on average. More than that and it can get a little hairy to manage.

I'm betting our story is similar to yours.

Sounds like fun and educational.

I would possibly be in for one of these.

Only a 5 hour drive/ride
