hell i'm not checkin **** for the rest of the year besides maybe puttin a cut trans and the overdrives.if it is not detinating and i only weigh like 145#there is not a lot of load for very long periods of time on the bike.
I know that the plate is supplied with the kit but, was under the impression that Dennis was going to try starting without it to see what boost level could be supported.
NLR, would you have a recommendation for a piston....what compression ratio...not knocking it but I have never like spacers. I am seriously considering a turbo for my other busa. I may wait and buy a 2001 and put it on it....what time frame are you on for delivery. Also how are the stock rods holding up? Is there a need for o-ringing the cylinders. What about oil blow by on the head gasket at high boost... the reason for the piston question on the GS engine we ran 250 lbs of cranking compression for torque off the line....I have had several turbo`s...street and drag...quickest one ran mid 7`s thanks...when is a good time to talk to you....
I HAVE STOCK PISTONS AND IT WORKS FINE.I DID NOT RECIEVE MY BLOCK IN TIME TO INSTALL MY 1360 TURBO PISONS I GOT FROM J E .THEY ARE NICE PIECES TOO.I'LL BUILD ONE OF MY SPARE MOTORS AND USE IT WHEN I HAVE TIME TO PLAY.I'LL TRY SOME MORE BOOST FIRST.
Chris,
Got your email....
the busa motor is perfect the way it is!No need to touch it!
If you want a set of turbo pistons I can supply you with them as well(JE Pistons)but you really dont need to....go with the way the system is designed to be set up ...you will not be dissapointed!!!!
Its a new order of turbocharging with superior turbochargers...efficiency and flow rate dominate!~!!
