Mr. Turbo Kits

Just wondering if anyone has received their Mr. Turbo kit for their Busa. If so how is the installation going, first impresssions, etc.

It's been a sore subject at LA Busas. I've been in the turbo industry before, there are problems sometimes with vendors. These guy's have more than their fair share. Best thing to do is to talk calmly to them. Ask them pointed questions about which parts they're waiting for. What vendors they are waiting on. And if they send it, get a tracking number. Tracking numbers really cut the bull when you deal with these guys, they can't get around them.

I have a good friend who has been installing a MR Turbo kit for the last 3 weeks on his 2000 blu/sil busa. He is the one person in the US who has one up and running.

Their 8 hour install timeframe was way off.

The only thing is now that under boost it blows oil through the system throught he return feed. Mr Turbo has been addressing the issues one by one and taking care of them satisfactorily.

The bike is beyond stupid power with only 5 pounds of boost!!

N20BUSA, The oil,does it blow through the return on the oil pump on the turbo? Can you be more specific about the problem. Maybe it needs a check valve on the return line. I'm hoping that I'll get the kit in two weeks. we'll see.It just gets upseting having to wait so long,although I can understand business delays.

I am not sure, Call Pete as he is the one with the kit at the number in my previous post, he is more that willing to explain. Well worth the few pennies itll cost you, might save you a few grand!!!
