NB's Vocalist's voice is kind repetitive for me. Kind of like a load of Linkin Park, although they are great live and a lot of girls go to their concert's,, I can't take a lot of Bennington's voice. And although his range is incredible, it builds into a drone after a while. If I wanted to listen to Screamo, I would dial that up. ???
Fav right now for me is Tool anything (seen twice), Perfect Circle, Led Zeppelin (seen twice), Rush (seen eleven), Godsmack, Disturbed, Joe Satriani, Jeff Beck, Pink Floyd (seen once Div. Bell), Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath (seen three w Ozzy), Ronnie James Dio (Once w/ Sabbath), Queenryche (Local Bellevue WA. boys - drank a beer with Chris DeGarmo at Azteca once) Journey (5 x w/ Steve Perry),,, Not much into them anymore, but I saw Y&T in San Rafael's CA at New George's once - spitting distance to the stage and Dave Meniketti's guitar. I saw Cheap Trick one time with Kansas,, that was a great show,, never thought CT would have been that entertaining (Bunney E Carlos w/ his four foot drum sticks) Yes live once. Starship once. ELP once. Lynyrd Skynard once before the infamous plane crash. Saw them with three man band Paris and the Outlaws at San Francisco's Filmore West. "FREE BIRD!!!"
I am huge Neil Peart fan. I am a bigger John Bonham fan, but he isn't alive anymore so the next best thing is what I gravitate to. I am also a huge Danny Carey, of Tool, fan at this point, the off beat rhythms & tambla are driving my mp3.
I could go on, but I think I am turning the direction into some other thread.
