So i had a 1397 in my track bike. Dont know all the details about it bc I bought it like that. 3 months of 80 shot with a questionable tune and now it's done....
I have bought a 1430 dry block from a guy on PB. Im trying to decide on pistons and such.. My questions are...1. The head is getting a valve job and I'm Thinking shaving it should result in more power right? I've been told 10 thous if using notrous or 13-14 if going back straight motor...Im wanting to go back with a small shot of nitrous for those rainy days!! So I figured 10 thous mill on the head... While Im only going to use the intake-intake combo that was in my other motor.
What's you guys thoughts on this? is it worth cutting the head or not? Oh this will be 1/2 studded and will be a 50 shot or less to try and stay away from the 1430's thin walls Ive heard they can have issues with too much nitrous.
