my 1430 busa is finished!

i have union 76 100 octane for fuel right now. hopefully when i do the pw2 mod i'll be able to get back to regular fuel....but for now it wont run on it.

awesome frank!!!! Are you going to run the prostar shootout class? All you need is to dump the efi and put the megatrons on and add about 80 hp of nitrous and youll be right up there with the rest of the guns.. Congrates again... must be a nice machine.

Way to go Frank. Obviously we want to hear your 1/4 times. Also what HP does the dyno say?

Sorry. The Turbo bike I am ( always ) talking about is not mine :( :( :( If everything goes ok I will however be able to ride the second turbobusa early next week. Just to see if I want a turbo, I have always hated them ( suprise suprise ) but I will give it a good go..maybye maybye I will buy one...
But Gary Rothwell must be mentioned having a Busa with over over 300 hp so he is in another class hehehe

i talked to a friend of mine at
orient express and he tells me that they
did some stuff with that turbo for
gary....340hp

he'll be able to really smoke those
avon tires with that setup....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. ROFL LOL etc.... Sorry, I can't help it. I think I am going to have to join up on the bandwagon where you ignore posts from dumb ***es like twobad and whomever else acts like a fool. This thread is proof that it kills him. He is still trying to get someone to pay attention to him. Awwwwwwww poooo bayyyybeeee. Great work guys.

Hey twodumb or whoever else, go ahead and flame me cause I won't respond anyway. I'll just be sitting here laughing at your sorry ***es like the rest of the true bikers here!!! Hooooo Ahhhhhhh

Hey Frank,If you are using Keihins, why are you using the PCII.Why not use a Dyna 2000 or 4000 or even the Schnitz box?

Frank,
Sounds like s great project...
Since you are making 40% more power than a stock Busa, make sure your fuel injector duty
cycle is not approaching it's limit. Have you changed fuel pressure to compensate?
As for the Lectrons, thay make great dragBike carbs but SUCK SUCK SUCK for a street/strip bike. Basically the slides will stick on when you let offthe throttle (from engine vacuum) making them very dangerous to ride on the street.
Keep the fuel injection parts and wire in a MoTeC M4Pro controller...you won't regret it.

yes this will be shootout material.

yes i'm going to gainesville fla.(prostar)

as for the keihins...there out.

megatrons are in. we have figured out how to use these on the street without any problems.

i really want turborick to reply back about the prodject he's been doing.(efi/nos)
i'd like very much to be able to take this bike to gainseville with his setup.
but if he's not able to come through...i'll be putting the megatrons on in the spring

Frank---Man that is awesome!!!! I can't wait to hear how this thing runs. When can we hear some quarter times? Congrats---I hope you run into a ****y guy by the name of Santo from the R1 forum. This guy spent a ton of money on a custom R1. In fact, I think he has been building it all year. I noticed from one of his posts he thinks his bike would smoke a turbo Busa. Have you heard of him???

yes thats at the wheel.
and no i don't know of any
santo, but i'm sure will
come across one another
in the future sometime.

i just finished my airbox mod
tonight. it looks good. i added a few new
little tricks to it, i'm kinda anxous
to see how it runs. also, i recieved
my power commander today and i tried to
get a hold of bob by phone & e-mail but
i could never seem to get him to respond.
the question i had for him was...i have the yosh program in my bike now and i was wondering if i needed to change it back to the stock settings before i installed the pw2?....i wonder if i could over ride the yosh setup with it?

also, i still need a rear brake foot lever and a left foot peg mount!

it's going to be hard to try to take it to a track without them....but i'm trying hard to locate them. maybe something will come through on saturday?...i hope!

I hope you get your parts Frank. I know when you're waiting for parts right before a race it gets a little aggravating! Do you have every thing else ready to go for the weekend? Is this going to be the maiden voyage? Is there a way you can fabricate something so you can get to the track?

Frank, i can't believe you need to ask about the remap info.

Yes you have to return the settings to zero with the YAFM box before you install the PCII. This info is in the directions that come with these parts.

Lets move on to cam timing!

the reason i asked was because i don't have the yosh box to change it back to stock settings. also i never paid much attenion to you guys when you were talking about the pw2 because i knew the what you guys were coming up with wouldn't apply to my bike.

i could have left my busa with jesse another week to do all the dialing, but i wanted to bring it home as soon as i could.

i'm just trying to keep from having to take it another 600 miles round trip.
it looks like if you have a laptop it should be pretty easy. but first i need to find somebody local with the yosh box so i can change it back to the stock settings.

from what i was told about the cams was that as for now were going to have to stay with the stock setting. i guess it changes things in the ecm. kinda like the guys that were trying to retard there timing to spay. what i'm trying to say is that it picks up readings in more than just one place. i know some of you are going to question that but i don't know anything on the cams in the busas or what effects any changes may have on them...

yes i do have some local guys lined up to make me some billit parts if i can't find any in the next day or so...
