diesel: Well I haven't bought the bolts yet, their price still outweighs their weight savings in my head, but I really was surprised at how heavy the ones from suzuki were. And hey, whatever weight the wax puts on the bike, it makes up for by allowing me to slice through the wind! Hell I even wax my helmet!!

Diggin up the dead, huh.
Well since it's my thread, it makes me happy to see it revived!

I did build a garage (well a shed) but same difference. And the shed's floor is actually raised off the ground, so in a sense, it's better than a cement garage floor (unless of course the garage is heated.)

And I could lower the bike but to do that right you have to buy lowering links AND adjust the shock - your talking at least $500. Doing it the best way would be to buy an ohlins adjustable shock which is about $900 + install. So instead of paying $900+ (cause if I'm a do it, i'm a do it right) for the $278 that I paid Tobin to cut my seats (keep that on the DL, I don't wanna post pics until spring when I put them on the bike) I lost 2" of seat height which is the same thing as lowering the back end 2".

Rev man, I've learned a couple of things from forums that I keep in mind when I see a post like that.

1.) English is not everyone's primary language and some people have trouble expressing themselves in English.

2.) Some people don't care a whole lot about grammar and write sloppy posts.

3.) Some people just post and don't care if nobody can read it.

4.) Some people rode the small bus to school growing up.

So, whatever the reason for that post I'll answer it because, well come on, I started this thread and everyone has a little attentionwhore in them don't they?

Ok it's tough to get what your asking cause all I'm seeing is 5 number symbols. But I'm guessing you asked who saidwhore?
