My bike runs horrible, just need a tune?

I have posted this question in other sections (shame on me) but i am looking for an answer.... I just put a GIPRO gear indicator with ATRE, velocity stacks, full exhaust system. pair removal mod, and airbox mod to my bike... it will barely even idle now and sometimes won't, i fouled out a set of sparkplugs is how bad it is (seems to be way rich), the exhaust shoots out white smoke with puffs of black, the bike was good before i did these mods.... is this just a case of needing a dyno tune?
 
not gonna answer because ur wasting people's time with posting the same thing in different areas........but i figured i would get a post count for replying....:deadhorse::repost:

Did you put a commander on it ??? Maybe you can get a base map to get over to the dyno/tune or you going to flash it???
 
its going to get flashed, I am driving 3-4 hours away to the only place i know of in the area that does it... I am going to haul it there on a trailer... I'm just concerned as to if there may be a more serious problem because of the white smoke?

Multiple threads for the same thing may not help a simple bump sometimes all a threads needs to get back in the eyes of people or back to the top of the "new post" search. Till you get it tuned I don't think there is much to do :dunno:

I understand what you are saying though white smoke I thought meant coolant was getting where it shouldn't be not to sure myself.

1. You've made significant changes to both the intake and exhaust of your bike.
2. You post that it's running like piss, crap and horrible. See #1
3. People have replied to your posts indicating that you should get it tuned. 1 2 3 4
4. kromdom points out that your question(s) has been answered in prior posts and you want to start with some name calling. ???

5. In addition to needing a tune, sounds like you've got a severe case of rectally inserted cranium.

dude, I will let you slide calling me that ONCE...and one time only! I understand you're frustrated that things are not going well with you're bike but that does not give you any excuse whatsoever to lash out at anyone.

My first instinct is to go TIT-FOR-TAT with you but I choose not to. Instead, I wish you good luck with your bike and hope you get it sorted out.

It's more complicated than the diagnosis in the other thread, it's not just as simple as the map sensor ain't plugged up. I appreciate the help though.... Thanks for the comment :thumbsup:
 
Just go back through your steps and concentrate on the vacuum lines. Like when you capped the line to the flapper valve during the box mod, pair valve. You might have accidently capped the line to the map sensor.
 
i still think something map sensor related, if you have a flasher connect to gauge data and see where in the iap map its idling at. No reason an exhaust and filter should make it idle horrible etc.

The gear indicator you put on isn't ATRE either, its a 1n23455 de-restriction.

Appreciate the help, I think the tuner is going to assist me when I go down there this Saturday... I'm prolly doing something stupid, can't wait to let you all know

Also, it ran decent for the first start up... Not after that

I installed basically those exact mods and it started and ran fine. EVen better with PC so I think you have another problem.
 
Hmm we will see, everything shuld b perfect tho, I'm always very meticulous and I've checked it all over and over again
