i don't understand why it has a banana seat ,whats going to hold you in?
unless..... its not all that fast.................................
must have had some extra zx-11 seats laying around

The ZX14 also comes with a solo seat and cowl. Like with the busa, you get both.
Personally I like the looks of both bikes, I wouldn't mind having the 14 in addition to my busa, especially now that the owners over on the ZX14 site have solved the notorious lack of low end grunt problem by simply removing the intake secondary butterflies.

Are you sure about that what I saw on Kents is the cowl just slides over the seat and 4 little screws fasten it on I could be wrong

I saw an all black 14 at the local dealer. It looked good. I think the busa is a better looking bike but the 14 grows on you. Bug-eyes and all. I do think that the foreman grille side has to go.

Don't like the heel guards, the grill, banana seats, bug eyes and the exhaust. I do like the windshield on the 14 though. It looks like kawi designers couldn't make up their mind.

Suzuki on the hand knew EXACTLY what they wanted busa to be.

Mc Mustang figured out what is wrong with the looks of the ZX-14. It's been bugging me since I first saw pics of it. The front and back ends don't loolk like they belong to the same bike. When somebody makes an aftermarket tailpiece that matches the front of the bike it will look much better. I sat on one last week. They feel VERY light compared to the Busa. The weight is very low centered.

But back on topic. The 14 has one thing that I like and that is the rolling stock. I like the wheels and brakes but thats where my fondness for this thing stops.

See in those pics, the busa's lines seem to flow, while the 13.5 looks like the front and back belong to two different bikes.... maybe I'm a little biased though..

MC hit the nail on the head. The front of the 13.5 looks funky... funky bad, not funky good.

Anyway, basscrazy... you have the fastest color scheme!
