I'm a cat person too, but my wife is allergic so now I don't get to have any (bummer).

I was told by a doc years ago I'm very allergic to cats and dogs and shouldn't have them. I'm also a rule breaker and am convinced that by being with them constantly, I turned my allergies around, otherwise, I'd be dead

Doubt you can convince your wife of this, but you know...just had to share...

She's a dog person, so while she did tolerate them while I had them, she's not gonna go for it. BUT OF COURSE, we have dogs...which I tolerate but would prefer a cat...
