My custom TL1000R pics

Here is a pic of my 2000 TL1000R with a custom paint job. My uncle and I did this bike in a viper yellow base, with painted lamborgini green and orange, and dodge truck silver flames. It took almost two weeks from start to finish, but it was worth it. It tends to be a real head turner, what do you guys think?

My next project is a damaged 2001 busa in picked up in NJ with only 2500 miles on it in october. Now it already has 4700 and I have only patched it up to ride it. I loved my TL but the busa is hands down the winner in all departments: comfort, ridability, and power. Only thing I don't like is that the busa has bad manors when trying to ease around in traffic. I mean it wants to jump and lurch at slow speeds like all bikes but it seems a little worse with the busa. But I still love her!!

Nice , I love the TLR! I almost got that before the busa . If you get TRE it will smooth out the lurching alot.

This is the busa a few minutes ago after the micron 4-2-1 race system, pcIII, k&n air filter, solo hump bought from creekboy, swapped silver wheels from the TL, and the grab rail from ebay I polished.

The project description: paint the busa House of kolors sunset orange shimrin pearl, and stripe it with viper metallic silver and black followed with chrome decals.

The only things I hated about the TL was that it always felt heavy and handling was not what I expected. I know the busa is heavier, but it does not feel like it. She handles her weight beautifully:D

I'm not much for yellow anything...but i'm thinking that the picture isnt doing the paint job justice and i'm gonna say that is HOT looking TLR! I love the sound of the thumpers!!
