Been there, done similar ... I learned by mistakes to do a full inspection before I leave the shop, but sounds like they know you so let us know what happens.
 
I'm so grateful for your comments, all of you....and Daniel (Goldenchild), they are polished raw aluminum (shined them today for their "presentation" to the manager on Tues. morn. Doyle
 
Alittle cleanup on that lip will fix it. I wouldn't polish the whole wheel, maybe just the flat area where it's damaged.
 
When I went to have my Qualifiers mounted they (the dealer) had me sign a paper stating that "scratching the rim is very comon, and just the nature of the beast", and they would not be liable for any scratches or dents aquired while mounting the new tires. Have any of you guy's (girls too) ever have that happen to you ? And is that BS ?

Have someone else mount your tires. If those clusterf#cks at Unique Auto on speed T.V. can mount giant car tire on 22" rims with out scratching them, a bike shop should be able to put a tire on a 6" bike rim with no damage.
