My dad is an incredible man, I have posted several things about the Patriot Guard over the past few months... I wanted to share with you his post from his facebook page over the past couple of days......

Funeral services for PFC Cody Board will be held in his home town of McKinney Texas Saturday. This young warrior was killed in action in Afganistan. The Texas Patriot Guard riders will escort him to Witchita Falls where the Oklahoma Patriot Guard will meet them and have the honor of escorting him to the National Military cemetery at Fort Sill.

They buried a 19 year old American hero today....the Westboro Baptist church was there to protest....but so was the Patriot Guard Riders....182 strong....I couldnt have been prouder and more honored to be there....no matter what the Supreme Court rules....WE WIN!!

Your awesome dad...

Uncle Steve was there on duty too, he said the procession was 3 miles long full of proud and thankful Americans....

It's too bad that it's our side dieing. Hooah to your dad and his compadres

Your dad and the entire Patriot Guard rock!!!!!!

I know that all of the family & friends of those who have fallen in service to their country appreciate not having to see the idiots who are protesting the honoring of someone who was willing to give their life in order to ensure that the idiots are able to practice whatever religion they want.
Just my opinion, yours may vary, but I've stated mine in print.

This must have been a sight to behold. Please extend our thanks to your DAD and you have every reason to be proud, Cap! (I am also a PGR here in SoCal but nothing dramatic thus far.)

This is the only pic I managed to take. I was busy during the escort.

It is an honor to be a part of, if you have never attended a military funeral, make a point to do it. If you have a bucket list, add a military funeral to the top of the list. If you have children, take them.
The Patriot Guard is an exceptional sight to see. I cannot speak for the members of the Patriot Guard, I will say this.........It is hard for me to explain and I hope you understand.
I felt the Patriot Guard and everyone involved lost "their son"and nothing or no one was going to mess with him or his family. And that is the message they send.
I must give credit to the many citizens on the interstate that stopped on the opposite side. (they don't have to) and the people on the over passes.

You will fight back the tears.
Young men and women are fighting and dying for us. The least we can do is show our respect. I cannot imagine the pain their parents, friends and family are going through.
A 19 year old young man gave his life for his country. He must be held in the highest regard.

God bless him, his family and the Patriot Guard.
