Here a little vid of our road here up north, this is one of my friend on his gixxer1k, they where'nt riding that hard, just wanted to film the road and yet still looses the rear end in mid video.

What tires was your buddy running when he almost lost it? That was a nice save by the way! I puckered watching it!

When this was filmed, 4 years ago, most of us had HPX tires, btw Busacruise I'm not on this video, thats why you dont get to see the Busa

I did bought a Camera last November so this summer I will be making some videos.

I have a friend who swears by the Avons also~ I've yet to try them myself... I'm still wearing down my Pilot 2CTs~ I do hear ya on the cracks and paint lines~ I've noticed that myself, but typically read it as tire wear~ That is to say, I don't notice it until the tires have been worn down some and take it as a sign to start saving for a new pair~ Guess I may have to give the Avons a try next time around... thanks for the write up!

So far I'm lovin them~ I've only been using them on my daily work commute lately, so haven't really put them to the test in the twisties~ That "Florida Flat" spot you see in BC's pics of his rear tires is why I'm trying 'em now~ The softer compounds wear down too fast in the center without all the twists and turns on the daily commute~ I'm not seeing/feeling that flat spot yet... and for me that's a good thing...
