Never seen so many deer in NC before?
The development we live in has a private club, they took out over 30 deer inside the development during the first month of the season.
My co-worker hit one the way to work.
Sunday, right in the middle of the road, a long line of tire brake marks and a dead deer where they end.
We do a 45 mile cycle every Saturday through the country, last Saturday a total of eight dead deer next to the side of the road.
Had a good test of my electronic doggie fence last week. We were sitting on the porch, four deer strolled into our yard and the two dogs froze. The moment they crossed the electronic fence the dogs wheelspinned out of the porch, chased them at full speed and came to a skidding stop right where the fence ends.
Neighbors hit one with a Corvette at 15mph as they left a parade, no damage to the vette, deer ran away.
Guess it is not a good time of the year to go do some fast runs on the Busa through the country.
