My Lowering Links Broken While Cornering !

Ouch! Glad to see youre alright.

What year 1000? The 07 & up use a different design that might lead to a larger hole to begin with. If earlier model year, the hole is way too big and the wall thickness way too small. Or maybe the bolts were loose on that end and the holes enlarged from rattling around, prior to failure.

yeah that is an amazing color. congrats on that bike. the 08 uses a newer style. there is another part to it that sits between those 2 links. did that fail as well? how does it look?

While cornering at a speed of 60mph (about 100 km/ph) my lowering links broken

, the bike started to vibrate , too hard to control , but , i finished the corner and get the bike to the safe lane . I'm very very lucky , nothing happened , also to the bike , even a spot on the bike ...

got me kinda worried just lowered my 04 busa w the three hole links .... how safe can they be ?

People value $$ differently. $20 for some 3hole links vs $60+ for some good links(adj,etc...). That $40 saved is full tank and trip to local bike night. HEHE!
