My poor, poor, gutted busa

good lord! look at the bright side, she'll shift like a champ once you get the tranny back on line. :laugh:
 
Not too bad to do. I got mine with 8k on it and it had a sec. gear issue. Who know'a how long it was doing it for. Took it apart one night after work, ordered the part's the next day and had it running within a week from teardown night. Everyone should have a chance to do it. If you are good to the tran's it will last. Just about 37k now and thing's are fine. good luke with your's.
 
Hang in there :thumbsup:nothing better than doin' it yourself! I didnt catch if you were also going to replace the shift fork as well, but as long as your in there be sure to catch it as well and be sure to replace the cir-clips on the tranny shafts too:bowdown::thumbsup: Get way to really get to know your bike:beerchug:
