Went for a quick ride today.  Got out to Crown Point.  Sorry GC, will have to actually get my bearings out that way and find the shop sometime.  Didn't think about it till I was already heading out that way.

Anyways, here's a couple of pics from Crown Point looking onto the Columbia River Gorge.

I don't know why the title keeps showing up like that. If a Mod can fix my ignorance that would be great!

On a side note. On the way out to Crown Point I had a guy on a ZX-14, Midnight Blue, pull up behind me. He followed for a bit, then, a bit frustratingly passed on the right. Got up to the top and he stopped, said sorry, he was just looking and didn't realize he was so close and going too quick. There was plenty of room, just didn't like it. Anyways, we talked for a bit, he loves the Busa just ended up with the ZX out of price negotiation. It was my first up close look at one. They aren't too bad, not a Busa, but not too shabby. I am not overly fond of the curves or overall look, but I don't ride one.

Some years back, I drove a big rig out there. That sure is a beautiful river to drive down, I remember one place they had dams on the river with "salmon ladders" along side of them. I watched some monster salmon going up them, and thought that was pretty cool ( they were "monsters" to me, from Mo.)
You got some real nice country out there to see.
Thanks for the pictures, it brings back some good memories.

Next time up close and personal with a ZX.......take a real good look at the craftsmanship of the rear end, the frame, the welds, the basic overall, so to speak. I mean, go into a dealership and REALLY look one over. If you're that impresed, I'll buy you one.......

Don't get me wrong Spud, I wouldn't own one, but they do "appear" nice. He seemed impressed with it, although after 2 months he was sitting at 600 miles... I am 3 weeks in with 2200. So I guess that shows a bit of a difference. I can't get off the Bus, he barely rides the ZX.

I don't know a lot about thier craftmanship, was just speaking in the appearance. Although if you wanna buy me one....
