This was suppose to be a "watch-out post" for some poor kid's not-even-scrubbed tire bike being stolen. And you turned it into a soapbox to stand on to spew and flaunt your racist tendencies?? As I read it, "...it's probably in Mexico by now...", not "it was some Mexican". How do you know it wasn't some mid-west, or even Florida, born and bred white/black/green/blue boy or even gal that stole the bike?
As Chris Rock pointed out, patrioism is good, but that "U-S-A, U-S-A, U-S-A" is starting to sound more and more like "heil Hitla, heil Hitla" to me. First you razing on the "illegal" immigrants, then you'll just go straight for the immigrants, then you'll start singling out the naturalized citizens, then you'll grow a little square patch of hair just on the upper, center part of your lip and get that silly, greasy hair cut... Where did YOU come from? And don't tell me you came up out of the ground from some dirty field in Florida. That's right... however many generations ago, one of your relatives swimmed, sailed, flew, or hoped some fields, "legal" or not, to get your lame ass here. DON'T YOU FORGET THAT.
Just because someone mentioned Mexico and you automatically assume the following equation?: Mexico = illegal immigrants = criminals??? What is wrong with you?? I hope you didn't pay more than $10 for your helmet. Because with that train of thinking, I don't think your head is worth that much of a saving.
I remember right after the first big protest about the bill, I read in the news (yahoo, I think) some social professor from some university just finished his studies on the drain that the "illegal" immigrants have on our system. Guess what was the finding? The biggest "recepients" of our welfare system, public healthcare system, and our education system wasn't illegal immigrants... heck, it wasn't even immigrants at all, it was the white and black, US born and bred folks. Take that to the bank. For all I know, 35% of my hard earned income could be going to your racist a*s to get you that busa.
You think the "illegals" are the reason for all of this country's woes? You think it's the "illegals" that's causing you, I and all the rest on this board and beyond the very valid worries that we'll likely not see a dime of the social security $$$ when it's time for our retirement age? And you think that opening machine gun fire at the "illegals" spotted crossing the field is the answer? I think the opposite... Completely. The answer (at least from a economist's view) is the complete, 100% opposite. Do away with the stigma of "illegals". Instead of closing the borders, and tightening the legal admission into the U.S.... OPEN IT WIDE. That's right OPEN THE GATE WIDE!!! Welcome anybody and everybody that's not a murderer, rapist, molestor, drug dealer.

Here is your green card (or pink, whatever the color is these days), here is your driver's license, your social security card, and please fill-out and sign the W-2 form. Think about how much income tax $$$$ the government is losing, and the rest of us have to make up in our income taxes because the immigrants are "illegal", and thus they don't have to, and can't pay taxes, so they work for under the table. THINK LONG AND HARD ABOUT THAT FOR A SECOND.
And if you are worried about your job/livelihood... You shouldn't be... Unless you only have unskilled manual labor experience. And if you do, then maybe it's time for you to get some formal skills if you like manual labor, or get a education if you don't. Hell, if I lose my job to some fresh-off-the-boat, or just over the border dude that barely speak a word of english, then I deserved it because I was slacking off somehow, and devalued my job position. Thus I deserved it.
And from personal experience being in one of the few truly diverse parts of the country. I cannot recall for a single instant where I didn't run into a "just hopped the fence, border brother" that I didn't like and respect, whether they're here legally or not. I find them to be good people, hard working and honest. They take take the crappiest jobs, that under pay, rather to go out to steal or sell drugs. And guess what?? I found that most of your typical criminal types are U.S. born and/or raised. Kinds of a coincide with that social professor's finding as I mentioned above. Strange isn't it??
So next time before you go talking out of your A*s, I suggest you think about it first. By the way, here's some tissue for your a*s, I think I see something dripping.. OH, I'm sorry that was your comment and thoughts.
So in closing, I would like to rewrite YOUR closing to add, all wishing to come in to the U.S.: Here's your Green Card, your Social Security Card, your W-2 to fill out, and please remember to file your income taxed before the middle of April of each year. "WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA."
