I'm so sorry Kent...I'm also very glad you're okay and here to tell us...

Is it mostly cosmetic? Bigger problems with the frame or anything? Hopefully, it's just cosmetic and you can fix her back up...keep us posted...

I dunno, Sandy Beach, sand on road Maybe?

Here's a thought, send Hawaii a portion of the Captain's attempted Hayabusa Fund. Last time I checked it wasn't going anywhere... If he needs it of course...

Bummer man, but I will be putting in my order for some draggin Jeans... Looks like they worked as advertised...

Sorry to see those pics. Glad you are ok. Let me know what you plan on doing, repair, replace, etcetera. I may be able to help.

Thanx for all the support folks. Busa people are good people

plz keep Cappy's busa $ for him.

OK. here's the update:

It was rider failure for sure but it may have been that burnout wheelie thingy. Dont know, happened way fast.

No comp insurance. ( I still say it's not cost effective on anything under $10k value, even though I got over $12 into her, market value aint there )

Got her home yesterday ( 225 miles )and it looks like clutch and starter covers are the main engine damage. So she may breath again

Forks and frame seem ok, infact not even a scratch. Plastics are gone except for hump and front fender, seat is good.

I am gonna attack engine first, if that can be saved then i'll start looking for other stuff.

I am gonna need : rear sets, clutch & starter covers, all plastics, rims ...if you guys have some of these for sale or you come across em plz let me know. This may take me awhile as I need to get some other bills outa the way first.

Thanx again for your aloha - K

Bummer Kent! Very sorry to hear of your crash, but very pleased to hear you are in good shape (physically). I got bunches of random parts, so I may be able to help ya out some. No decent plastics though. Time for that custom paint job. Like you, I carry only liability and theft, no collision.

Cheer up, now you get that turbo system... or better, buy my POS.

Shane

There are some 04 RED LE plastics here for sale somewhere... I dunno... Just a thought...
