18th is out for me. Going to go to Tenn. for a court date for Sister-in-law. You guys have fun though. October too cold for everybody to do the long ride? Maybe second weekend in Sept? Too close to the bash? What'cha think?

I'm down Roc...let's make it happen. Just for the record I am not looking forward to the August heat.

I'll check out the ferry routes, times, and lengths. They'll probably be the biggest time draw on the ride. Should make for some great pics though.

There's a Panther's game Fri nite (I have tix) and I have obligations that Sunday. Think I can make it down in the AM and then back to the RTP area not too late? How long do you think the ride would be?
I'd love to make it down

Looks like hwy 24 out of Fayetteville will be the quickest. I can meet you somewhere in Fayetteville early (preferably Dunkin Donuts) and we can go from there. Let me know!

Man Roc...I'm skeered of the heat brother! We'll have to make some hydration stops every hour or so. Then I'll need you to tell me that everything will be okay.

Of course you and anyone else is most welcome but if you're under a time crunch I would not recommend this ride. We'll be riding ferry's across the Pamlico sound and between the outer banks.....this will take lots of time I think.
