bummer, dude. I use xp pro sp2 with no problems. I wonder if the Downlaod was corrupt even though it finished ok? ? I get that sometimes and HATE it. gotta download the whole thing again from another place.

you could also try rebooting , maybe memory is temporarily corrupt. happens a LOT in Windows

MOST of the time the server is up, but the demo crashes randomly while I'm at work and can't restart it again. there's usually a couple other OK servers out there if mine's not. have fun! Trackmania Sunrise is a total freak-out with it's highspeed unrealistic realism! BLAST!!!

Got the NFSMW Black Edition last night for my B-Day. I haven't loaded it up yet. Hopefully, the online play is better than Underground 2.

aw geeez! I still barely break 10 mins. I get to flying and the freakin SUVs fly out of nowhere and hit me head on! is there a patter to those things?

did 18 min get old was it a good time?

yeah those jeeps whatever suvs. yep out of no where they slam head on to you. normally 6-8min i'am gone. but i got into it that game.

Got the NFSMW Black Edition last night for my B-Day.  I haven't loaded it up yet.  Hopefully, the online play is better than Underground 2.

There are some gameplay issues with the game, at least at the lower levels. In order to race against the BlaskList, you need to complete milestones. The milestones are part of the police chases. I drove around the city for agout 20 minutes at high rates of speed, hitting cars, setting off the camera radar, breaking down the fenses at the police station, and no police around to chase me. I even crashed into the doughnut shop and nothing. When there finally was a cop to chase me, i had to keep stopping so he wouldn't lose me ater a 12 second chase.

I haven't tried racing online yet. Hope game play gets better in the higher levels. The graphics are awesome.

gotcha. my problem is I keep loosing them and the COUNTER STOPS!

and if ya hide, the game ends. still a ball for a demo

online races [demo] is kinda fun: 2 tracks - one city, one highway. I prefer the open city driving like the police chase or like in demo of Midnight Club II which also has a bike BTW but very few race online with that anymore

if you dig solo racing in a fine Euopean car, try World Racing 2. Great control, beautiful country side, and LOTS of weird hidden stuff to explore! the demo has a couple tracks and some unlockable stuff I haven't got to - I'm too busy exploring. found 3 warps so far

Not entirely sure why, but this game reminds me of The Transporter movies

this skiing game is reallt neat, but I have no idea how to control it

there's also great demos for: skateboards - surfing - golf - tennis - hockey pretty much whatever you fancy

naw, I think I'm done with consoles now, I get so many free PC demos... I'm selling my Vectrex, 2600, 7800, nes, snes, genesis, TG-16, portable TG-16, all my games and MAYBE trading in for a ps2 so I can play Suzuki TT, MotoGP4

All those systems are emulated and much better on PC now

I played X360 at Best Buy, but the games LOOK cool, didnt do anything new to me. I'm sure it will rock and be a big hit for christmas, but it didn't blow my skirt up

ahh crap. I was going for MOST POLICE CHASE TIME in the demo, to extend the demo fun, not fastest complete.

man, took me 5 minutes to find a second road block! I went back to longest chase and spooled up 18 min and lil bit more, then I hit an invisible wall and they got me! for got to get a screen shot GRRRRRRR
