Need help lowering my busa

I purchased a billet adjustable kick stand from Parts Unlimited , since we're a dealer for them I get pretty good deals . I'll post up some pics after I get to the shop where the lighting is good .

Postal , Gastonia is just a short 2 hour hop down I-85 about 20 miles south of Charlotte . Take exit 20 to the right then right at the 2nd light onto Franklin Blvd then turn right at the next light into our store's driveway .

Pic looks good dude. My bike was already lowered in the front when I bought it. Looks like it has some spacers under the tree. Maybe an inch. Got the back finished the other day. love the new look. I lowered the back about 1 1/2. Sure does help me a lot concidering i'm about  5' 6in tall. I rode to work and back today bike still feels good in the turns and stills rides one hell of a wheelie! one last thing to ask of my fellow busa riders. What is the best helmet to invest in on weight and comfort? I need a new helmet for the summer. anyone?

There have been other posts that say if you only lower the rear end it negatively affects the handling of the bike.

Don
I have  been riding my bike with the rear lowered for 9 months and have no ill effects from it.  It felt alot different than stock though.  Lowering the rear was needed for me though since i was on my tip toes while sitting on the busa.
Ditto.. I haven't noticed any difference since lowering the rear by an inch.
Hay, nice to see another lady busa rider! In these parts I usually get guys jaws dropping when they see a chick pull up on a busa!

Just my thoughts; I have owned an HJC, then an Arai, and also a Shoei; of the three helmets I really love the Arai. It is extremely lightweight, very comfortable and pretty quiet. The visor works real smooth. The ventialtion is the best of the three. But I personally would love to try a Suomei. Spelling!
