Need help on used 08

Found a 08 with about 4K miles, 4 to 1 pipe, ( don't know the pipe manufacture), Power Commander, The bike looks clean and sounds good in the showroom. It's on consignment at a dealer..... Asking 10,400.00... Way too high IMO sooo What do you believe to be a fair offer??????
Will be ready to pull the trigger in about a week.

man i payed $10,500 for mine this year for a leftover 2008 with no miles on it. if it was me i wouldn't pull the trigger, just my 2cents. no telling how hard the person rode it in those 4000 miles...

I bought mine from my work here for $7,700 w/ 5,800 miles on it. It had a aftermarket windscreen and M4 slip-ons.....

Way too high. You can find used Gen II's in the $7500-$8500 range now. The owner of that bike needs a MIN amount, add to that the dealer's mark-up, hence the asking price. If you're able to track down the owner, you will probably get a better deal.

bought my 2008 for 8400 cash with a full brocks exhaust and a power commander and lots of chrome and all the stock parts and only 1035 miles on it, barley broke in. august 2010 clean bike

That's about the number I was thinking of offering, The bike has been there a while...May let it sit in the showroom a bit longer.

Don't know where you live, but with winter around the corner, you got lots of leverage.

Don't rush... It's the seller that's usually in a hurry, not you. Or at least give the impression that you're not.

Don't want to beat on a dead horse, but keep looking.

Price also depends on where you are. In ca, the price will be higher, but that does seem a bit high to me. Best of luck in your search!
