WAY TOO MUCH..
I paid $10,450 for my 08 new in 08.
And was only able to get $8500 for it when I sold it in May of this year, (with Yosh 4 into 1, chrome wheels, powered coated rearsets, and Heli bars)

Not that I'm against mods or anything but if i were to buy a used bike I would want one that was as stock as possible .
I've always assumed cars and bikes that were stock were gonna be in better less 'stressed' condition that one with numerous mods on it .
Is that wrong ?
A bike with a pipe and pwr commander on it may have been run hard . Did previous rider shift properly at redline or go past it ? Did they wheelie it ? Things like this make me lean toward a stock bike because previous owner didn't mod it maybe he didn't hot rod it .
Just how I feel .
The price they ask like others have said is way too high .
Write $8000 CASH NOW on the back of a business card and hand it to a salesperson there . Let them work backward into your offer . It's probably that high because owner still owes the bank that or more . Loan left on it may be that high ?

I just cannot believe how little you guys pay for your bikes. A 2009 Busa is $19,000 here.
I bought my '06 with 7200km on her, for $11,500...and that was considered to be a good price!

not sure on the area u live in, but my friend is looking to sell his 08 charcoal/black busa-columbus, ohio. Talked to him last night and said he would let it go for $8700, but might work with the price a bit. Only has 3500 miles, full yosh system (can't remember which one at the moment), powercommander, and suzuki double bubble windscreen. Has always been very well taken care of, never dropped

Buying a bike that is almost 3 years old with low miles seems to be buying a bike that has sit in a garage too much.
Expecting to buy a performance vehicle used and expecting it not to be run is just as silly. The only way to be sure is buy it new, otherwise, don't fall for the " It was owned by a little old lady that only drove it on Sundays to church" bit.
I have seen people buy a busa and only ride it a few hundred miles because it scared the crap out of them, but it is not all that common.
People are on hard times and there are some good prices out there because when bills are due, the fun items get sold to pay for the things needed.

good man, go for the pumpkin! whatever the price i hope it pans out for you. it's a nice feeling to get a new bike.

Just looked at a 09 with 2K miles / all stock for 9450.00 - one small scratch, not even noticeable.

The Black paint scheme looks good, but don't think I will be happy with the stock exhaust, and full 4 to 1 will be out of my budget for some time.
Maybe slip ons are the answer if I can make a deal on this black beauty.

I can always sell you a set of M4 Retro Drag slip ons for a good price

I may be offing my M4 Retro's off my 08 soon to go to a full system too
