need help with crack. no not that kind

Nah, some lady turned in front of him. Anyway, I saw a black frame on ebay last night and someone only wanted $1900 for it... which is a steal if it's in good shape and the deal is on the up-and-up. I would be real skeptical about riding that bike no matter where the frame was cracked. But the best alternative is to have it x-rayed to check for more cracks that may not be visible.

dropped??  Wheelies??
He crashed it.

+1 on parting it out on Ebay!
Between the money you can make parting this out, add in the 4K for what you figure it would cost to repair... and you have more than enough for a newer bike that hasn't been wrecked.

Then.. factor in if you ever want to sell this one down the road??? Nobody with 1/ brain is gonna spend money to get a bike with this kind of history.. and the weld should total it anyways.

replace the frame...
