Need opions

i think it looks better with mirrors. without them the front looks too damn long and smooth. with the mirrors it looks complete and its functional. i got the blind spot mirrors which i just stuck to the regular ones and they work 10x better then just the regular mirror alone. trust me, i hadnt owned a bike with mirrors till this year... or turn signals or gauges for that matter... and i LOVE these little gadgets lol

I like the look of them off, but I leave mine on. My buddy is a LEO and rides a busa. At a group ride, about 15 of us stopped for gas. Local LEO's came up and started giving crap about no mirrors to several of the riders including my buddy. After seeing his badge, they decided to let everyone slide.

Unfortunately, I don't have that 'badge' to solve my problems.

I'll keep them on.

My experience has been that usually the squidly 'tards run w/o mirrors. Mirrors are extremely helpful in the following ways:
1. Legal - come on, you are riding a 'busa and likely have done some wicked evil speedcrime, do you really want to give The Man reason to hassle you or a reason to decide you are an unsafe ####### rather than a reasonable, safety conscious rider?
2. Traffic - yes, it is good to see what is coming up to hit you.
3. Group Rides - far easier to cope with insane friend passing on rear wheel when you have mirrors to give you warning.

So, although the bird might look better without mirrors (or turn signals for that matter) I find that it works better with them.

I like them on and your required by law to have them on too! All street legal vehicles on the road must have 2 rear facing mirrors. If you don't the cops can pull you over or give you a ticket whenever they want, even if your parked on a public street.
