Need Pictures of Touring Busa's

Most of us on this forum are Busa junkies.

However with that said - I wouldn't limit life experiences to only 1 bike make and model.
There are a great number of OTHER bikes that also do most things well.
Variety is the spice of life, so having 2 (or more) bikes to choose from is very nice indeed.

I have a Gold Wing and he are some of the differences between it and my Busa.

The GW can carry more than the Busa - Hands down the winner.
When I get off the GW I'm pretty clean - Busa you are peppered with bugs etc.
I can stretch my legs out on the GW but not so much on the Busa. So can my passenger.
Riding in the rain on my GW you really don't get too wet when you are moving, compared to the Busa.
The Busa will corner better than the GW hands down. I won't mention speed.
You don't need to clean and oil a shaft drive.

There are many other bikes besides a GW but I'm not the only one that has a GW and a Busa on this forum.

You can do what you want - but if your wife indicates at any point in the future that she doesn't want to go riding
because all you have is a Busa or a Busa, well lets just say Variety can be a good thing.
Well it’s been a while since I posted the pics of my Gen 1 Busa. Time for an update. I thought I might respond regarding the comment about owning other bikes. I still have my Busa (now with 46k on it) and will never part with it. Too many happy memories. However, its last continental outing was in 2016 to Italy. Since 2017 my touring steed is a Kawasaki ZZR1400 Performance Sport, which I bought new. Another amazing sports tourer. My wife finds it smoother and more comfortable on long rides. I have been considering a Gen 3 Busa as a replacement, but need to sort out a decent luggage setup for it. One of the members here has been very helpful with that. Here’s a photo from my last europe tour on the Busa and my current steed. Reggie.

I do like the ZX14, I seriously looked at one (the Ohlins - Brembo Edition) as a replacement for the H2 SX SE. One of the reasons I didn’t was I absolutely love proper cruise control. I didn’t think I’d would be as big a deal as it is to me, I went decades without it and thought it’d be about as useful as an ashtray, but I was wrong. It makes a huge difference to me on long hauls. Every long straight or highway gives my old and damaged body a rest and a chance to recover.

Combined with the Gen-3’s bars being a bit nicer than early Busa’s the Gen-3 isn’t a bad long haul bike out of the crate, with a huge amount of options to make it fit anyone who isn’t 100% happy.

This setup is for two up touring right?

I have a "Sport touring" windscreen and spacers to raise the handlebars (in addition to the Heli Bars) on order.

I can see a "real" cruise control set up being super nice. The throttle lock does require a bit of operator input up and down hills.

Super happy with this overnight kit. Enough, but not too much. (Chicks dig red bungee cords...)

Yes it’s setup for my wife and I. We’ve been touring around the UK and abroad together since 1976. She loves biking as much as I do. When she’s happy on the bike, I’m happy. Most of the storage that you can see is taken up with her stuff :- ). Btw, to take the pressure off the throttle grip, I use of these on long haul trips. Been a great help.
