Need someone in DFW area to change the mileage on their odometer

Bah, take your 11 posts and screw someone else. I aint buyin it and I don't care what your reasoning or excuses are. Crap like this is what screws over the good and honest folks. If you have nothing to hide, then there is no reason to change your odometer.

lol, and that is exactly what I do as well, this has turned into something else. The youtube video is advertisment like the other ones I have up there. I am trying to make it a full living instead of something I do on the side. Thats why its worth it to do it for free, and I was looking for someone in town, not just anywhere. I have my own disclosure forms and follow the same laws and 90% of the time I can retrieve the original mileage from the EEPROM and replace just the chip. But in my case like alot of other people I know have their clusters destroyed. The video is advertisement, Im just starting to focus on motorcycles instead of cars.

And Im trying to offer the same service as Welcometoblueguages.com, but Im just starting on this. The youtube video I put up has generated more business then my ebay adds, its as simple as that. Your looking for a scam, and Im trying to start a business for a service I had to pay an ass load of money for each time my cluster was destroyed. If you don't like it, don't read. This isn't complicated, noone wants your input or your cluster or your business.

There is very little legitimate business in doing this for cars, but Ive been asked if someone could mail their cluster to me they just replaced over a 100 times before I decided to start offering this. The youtube video shows I can do it, that I have the proper equipment, and do it in the cleanest way possible. Call it bull**** now, until you dump it to where you need to replace your cluster, I have so I know. And its normally not the Hayabusa cluster that gets damaged but its what I know the best. You don't buy it, have someone come by and see my certificates and my documentation, my ebay auctions, feedback and support I offer.

Im trying to offer a service I payed alot for, but if you a better suggestion almighty racerV on how to advertise, I would be more then happy to hear it. I put it on here because I have nothing to hide.
Best Regards to you racerV

krsimulis, you've been a member of this board for almost 7 years without contributing. It appears you only became active now because you think you will be able to use this site to make some money. Active members are trying to look out for each other. I've worked with Bluegauges and they keep the process of resetting odometers protected. Of course, they are not trying to sell $500 resetting units to the public.

If you want to use this site for advertising your business, you need to contact the Captain as you have been informed by PM.

I am happy to see the elevated platform you have placed me on. As your King I say, Be gone with you!

I plan to and have talked with them about that, but I wanted to be prepared for that before I did that. My bike was stolen 2 years ago which is why you don't see much, and haven't contributed since then. There is nothing protected about resetting odometers, sorry to say that but its not, its all over the internet and there are a dozen tools for that. They buy their equipment from the same place everyone else does, and if you think their process is some secret mystery its not. Whats funny is I was trying to help someone out locally so I could have the experience with the Hayabusa gauges. Instead, its turned into people talking instead of asking. How do you think bluegauges.com got to where they are. I wanted some experience with them, so I offered someting for free to someone. The assumption there is something more is sad. I have talked on the phone with Hayabusa.org, but didn't want to do that until I had this bike locked down with complete confidence, for me and for the people that want my service, hence the video. There hasn't been a single question, only assumptions.

And no they are no trying to sell the units, they buy them, from me, and that is something I want to get away from. People on this thread have assumed the worse instead of inquiring about why. My phone number and address are on my site. Before you throw stones, find out why you picked up the rock to begin with. I really thought I was going to help someone out, instead it was hijacked by people making ridiculous assumptions. bluegauges got their experience and equipment from somewhere, same place and way I did, but when I try to do the same thing, its looked at negatively.

And I came to this forum because I had spent years on this forum, but like most people a meth addict stole mine, for the second time. And I was a sponsor on here years ago when I had mine for something else. It sounds like bluegauges has a good following and a trustworthy name, and Im glad there is someone out there

Try posting a question and not an assumption.

Car dealerships have to either know the mileage and when a new cluster is ordered.. it is given with copy of repair order or old one is sent in to retrieve it. If your guessing at it, they say its legal if within say 500 miles.. they will retrieve mileage once old one is sent in as they have cores.. IF your out of that legal range. The certified facility will let you know and you will have to send it back to have it corrected.. I worked GM parts for years.. like someone stated here.. to each his own..

I have damaged a cluster on my old Gixer during a crash and the new cluster had ten grand on it more than my bike. This would have been good to know back then esp since its legal. In my op. This is like the gun issue. Can it be used improperly to harm folks? Yes. Are there legal and good reason's to have one? Sure also. I'm not going to jump on this guy, it sounds like he's cool. SO FAR LOL

Going back to what he said earlier about it being the responsibility of the seller to disclose the information of having the odometer changed, then why not leave it up to the seller's responsibility to say hey I had the cluster changed and it shows different milage. Bring the paperwork to prove it with a picture maybe. I just sold an 83 chevy blazer with 486,000 miles on it. If anyone is familiar with the truck they only have 5 digits on the dash. I didnt lie to him, but I guess that is just me. If I jump my bike with the wires criss-crossed and I flash the odometer.....then i am a retard, and this would be the only reason I could see this being legitimate. However since there are to many shady people that change it for the wrong reason I will simply say I dont hold it against you but I would support you either. You mentioned Detroit people lining up to do this but you fail to say that people selling personal cars in detroit is probably some of the worst people to buy a car from. (Some not all, but most) I know this personally as I grew up there.

Sorry for not asking a question cause there seems to be little to ask about this subject.

i think i found a youtube clip of how this might turn out.
