NEP Throttle lock

what about just modifying the fast idle lever to use as a cruise control?

I know some folks that have done that and say it works fine... just a matter of adjusting it really.

I dunno how to do it, but it can't be that complicated

NEP cruise control is only $20 and is supposed to slip on with no hassels. I just bought one yesterday, but I haven't had a chance to put it on yet. Should have it done this week.

This 1" Vista cruise control I'm using on my Busa worked fine for me on our group ride Sunday evening.
I was told by a fellow board member the 1" Vista cruise controller would work with no modifying, not true.  Well aleast I didnt seem to get it on with out having to do some modifying to it by cutting a 1/4" off the cross bar and adding some material to take up some space on the handlebar that located between the brake res and kill box, so it would lock in place . After taking some measure, which I should have done in the first place it appears the Vista 7/8" cruise control would probably work best and should require less modifying or adding of material.  
If any needs any additional help installing just holla.
