I know I read on hear about grips but can't remember where. Can someone advize me on changing the grips? Not as easy to find as my Honda cruiser. I know you all just WHAT! I told my wife sometimes you feel like a nut sometimes you don't. Anyway back to the grips trying to find a more comfortable grip is becoming quite tiresome. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Try using a heat gun, it might take a few mins to softn up the adhesive. Next, after it has softn enough to the point that you can lift the top  edge piece of the handgrip try pouring (spraying) some wd-40 underneath the lifted section as this will work its way down with a little bit of assistant from you  twisting and possibly inserting a screw driver underneath the  the grip wiggling side to side will help also.  This will loosen the adhesive making it nice and easy to slide off. After the removal wipe the bar down with an solvent base product (rubbing alcohol) to remove any traces of wD-40 .

I think I read where someone a while back used tennis racket grips. Give it a shoot and holla back.

Thanks again. However you are too late about the Gel grips I bought a pair and went to put them on thats when I said OH S#&*! Thank God I had a feeling I should keep the stock one and took my time and saved the original and left the clutch side alone when I saw it was glued. Maybe I'll leave it alone and find a good glove any Ideas on that? I live in the worst place in the world when it comes to local shopping to find anything. There is nothing for selection, or aftermarket shops around here. Wish I was still in Phoenix. Maryland SU**s

If you already got one on try it out with the other stock and see what you think. I myself hate them because they feel spongy without adding any notocable comfort and they cut down on the feedback from the front tire. This may just be a personal preference though.

Cool Rhythm, you answered one of my ?? from earlier. Krieg , I should have those grips off soon .

Well, if you just KNOW that you won't return to the OEM grips, the just take a box cutter and slice it length-wise and VOILA!!! Instant gratification...

I tell you guys what. LoBusa has this great set of foam grips on her machine and she swears by them. She NEVER complains of the old "throttle lock" syndrome in the right hand.
