Mornin all!! proud owner of a new 11 busa here, was looking at the zx14 but at 2K under the 14's cost and 0 down with 0% interest I couldn't pass that deal up on Saturday so now here I am :)

gotta say already lovin the bike even though only gotten to ride it one day so far, rain rain rain but Sunday was a beautiful day so got to go out to the HS parking lot and get a feel for the new bike and already in love.

Already now looking thru the mods section but ya'll have a lot of info there so I'll ask here for a few quick pointers since I'm already needing a few mods and unsure of where to even start looking considering how vast the aftermarket parts is for the Busa.

1. What are some of the better fender eliminator kits out there for the money, course already seen hot bodies, yoshi, comp werkes and a few others just figure before throw 80 bucks at a metal bracket it see if there is comparable one for cheaper that serves the same function.

2. Are those tinted taillight covers they got for the Busa any good or am I better of doing a night shade job again? I only ask cause last set of covers I used where **** and faded in a few months in the Texas sun/heat so I just spent a good day or two worth last time around and applied some nightshade wet sanded ect ect just curious on if the covers have improved any at all in fade resistance cause I will admit snap on snap off rocks.

3. Frame sliders, lookin at the vortex or shogun ones, I'm willing to cut the fenders so no worries on that issue just want a set that will do there job in the event **** does happen but also have some style to it

4. I'm coming up from a 750 so this is quite a big step so I'm not willing to chunk 1800 at a Brocks full system with a PC quite yet(don't have that kidna money yet anyhow) but the stock exhaust is pitifully quiet and living in Austin Texas I might be surrounded by some of the worlds worst drivers and prob any Texan would agree with that :/ But a decent set of slip on would do wonders and youtube vids just do not do justice at all. I would like to keep the price tag on slip ons under 600 if possible but 800 is not going to scare me away for a decent set if i feel the value is there, cheap end I've liked the hot bodies megs's, mid range was the Yosh r55/77 and the m4 dual GP, and on the high end go figure I liked the Brocks AE slip ons. If anyone's got some good audio quality links to those exhaust or would recommend there personal favs for some slip ons that would be awesome.

Mainly just in a toss up in my head between meg style and can's, I leave for work every morning between 5:30 and 6am so I don't exactly want to shake the houses like I do with my cars exhaust but loud enough so those people who just woke up and I'm rolling on the roads with will know I'm there at a cruising rpm.

Thanks in advance for all the wealth of knowledge I'm gonna learn from here and looking forward to seeing what this bike can really do as I grow into it

And of course the bike when first got in the garage.

Welcome.to the Org sir, as far as your questions, I'm not much help, I'm a Gen1 guy. I'm sure someone will be along.to help, if some guy named GsxrBots chimes in, take.the bike advice, but be careful, he's a weird one.

:welcome: you made a great choice with the busa. It is my first bike and I love it. I went from borrowing my dads Honda Valkyrie to owning a busa. No looking back now.
let me know what mods you go with. I'm shopping now too. I am thinking of leaving it mostly stock for the first year. But some louder exhaust is first on my list. Nothing obnoxious loud. Just want some noise.

Welcome aboard. !! A lot of new white busas.!! Lol!!! You picked the best color!!!

Morning!!! Welcome to your wallets demise!!!

:welcome: to the org. Regarding slip ons my suggestion would be to hear as many as possible in person and then decide. What they sound like is very different from what we hear in recording. i personally run the two brothers slipons right now and they have a nice deep rumble to them. no clips coz my phone cam distorts the sound.

:welcome: to the org. Im down in Houston with a few other members. BusaBret has already shown you the free fender eliminator. T-Rex makes a good no cut frame slider that a few here have put to the test and said they hold up just fine. Exhausts are like seat, you got to hear/sit on them in person to see which you like best.

:welcome: to the madness !!!!!!!

I am from Texas too... Houston. I will be home in july and hope to get with some of the other .org brothas and let them show me some nice areas to ride. Hopefully you can join as well. Although I may have to talk to them in advance and let them know that we have to keep it at a very modest pace....... Ya know.. you having a white busa and all......

You will love it here..... More info and knowledge than should be allowed in one place....

Welcome to the madness- best you find a second job for the mods! For the record drivers here in Dallas are by far the worst in Texas.

Welcome, Yoshimura trc carbon fibre slip-ons, nice look for cemetry. Loud enough and real throaty, quite enough to stay under the radar. Enjoy your new bike, and stay safe.
